On May 9th cyclists will gather in Easton Maryland to ride 25, 40, 66 or 100 miles! We come together to raise money to support Moveable Feast’s mission to serve people who live at the intersection of critical illness and food insecurity.Moveable Feast is a Maryland nonprofit that serves people living at the intersection of chronic illness and food insecurity. Our program comes at no cost to our clients, who reside in Baltimore City, the five surrounding counties, and the entire Eastern Shore. Our mission is to improve the health of Marylanders experiencing food insecurity and chronic illness by preparing and delivering medically tailored meals and providing nutrition education, thereby achieving racial, social, and health equity. We mobilize a community of volunteers and supporters to feed people, fortify health, and foster hope.

Ride beautiful, scenic routes (35, 65 and 100 miles) taking you through flat to gently rolling farmland in central Delaware as the route follows lesser traveled roads from Middletown to Clayton, Hartly, points south, and back. All routes will be marked with route arrows and have Support & Gear (SAG) until 5:00 pm. There are rest stops along the routes at regular intervals, five on the Century route!
Because of the flat, gently rolling terrain that the route follows, this event has become a “right-of-passage” for many cyclists as they take on the challenge of their “First Century Ride“.
On October 3, 2026, the White Clay Bicycle Club invites you to come and take the challenge for the 45th edition of the Savage Century, one of the most scenic and challenging rides in our area (especially if you choose one of the longer routes). Select a route—approximately 40, 60, 80 or 100 miles—and enjoy one of the premier rides in the mid-Atlantic region hosted by the WCBC.
The 40-mile (approx 2,300 ft of climb), 60-mile (approx 3,700 ft of climb ) and 80-mile loops (approx 5,300 ft of climb) have shorter climbs, while the major hills are on the 100-mile loop! The 100-mile loop had ~7,700 feet of climb for 2024.
